Georgian universities not included in the world university ranking

UK-basedhigher education analytics company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS ranked the world’s best universities, including five American, four British and one Swiss.

The top 100 includes 31 universities from the United States, 18 from Great Britain, 7 - from Australia, 6-  from China, 5 - from Japan, 4 - from Hong Kong and South Korea, three-  from Switzerland, Canada, France, Holland, and Germany, 2 from Singapore, and one from Taiwan, Argentina, Denmark, Belgium, New Zealand, Malaysia, Russia and Sweden.

From the neighboring countries only Russian Moscow University was included in the top 100 universities  and took the 90th place.

Among the best universities are 27 from Russia, 10 from Turkey and Kazakhstan, 6 from Ukraine and Iran, 4 from Latvia, 2 from Belarus, and 1 from Azerbaijan.

Georgia is not included in the list at all.

The top ten universities are the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , Stanford (USA), Harvard (USA), California University of Technology,  University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, London Imperial College (England), University of Chicago (USA), London University College (England).
