Georgian juice exports up 22%

In January-October 2021, natural fruit and vegetable juices exports increased by 22% compared to the same period of 2020 and amounted to 6,700 tons.

 

Export earnings rose from $ 6.5 million to $ 8.2 million.

 

According to Sakstat, Russia ranks first among the importing countries of Georgian juices with 1,800 tons ($ 1.9 million), followed by the United States - 1,100 tons ($ 1.4 million), Germany - 998 tons ($ 1 million).


 

In  10 months imports  amounted to 3200 tons worth $ 4.1 million. Compared to the same period of 2020, juice imports to Georgia increased by only 100 tons.
