These are environmentally friendly packages which are quickly decompose when interacting in the soil and  do not pose a threat to the environment. biodegradable materials mostly consist of starch, ” the company representative Giorgi Davitaya says.

The first stage includes  the replacement of plastic bags, the second - the replacement of plastic disposable tableware - plates, glasses, etc., which are widely used in Georgia but pose a threat to the environment.

In the future, the company plans to enter export markets.

The investments volume in the production amounted to 1 GEL million, at the first stage the company will employ  50 people. after the plant operates at full power, it  will produce up to 3 million packages.
