The Georgian side is set  to launch  an app that allows people to check whether they have been at risk of catching the coronavirus, Deputy Health Minister of Georgia Tamar Gabunia says.

The 'close contact detector' tells users if they have been near a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having the virus.

"Of course, we are planning to introduce this model. We have coordination with the Austrian side in this regard. They have shared their model, work is now being done on how to adapt this model and introduce in our country," Tamar Gabunia notes.
