Georgia inflation hits highest level in two years

In March 2021, Georgia’s inflation stood at 4.2 percent compared to the previous month, the annual inflation rate totaled 7.2 percent that  is the highest level since 2019- the National Statistical Office reports.

 

The price of cooking oil increased the most among the food products in March of 2021.



The price for coffee and cocoa went up by 14%. Utility payments for electricity, water and natural gas increased by 7.6%. The cost of healthcare increased by 13.6%.
