Georgia declares nationwide lock-down

A countrywide curfew will come into effect in Georgia from tomorrow and citizens will be banned from moving from 9 pm to 6am, Georgia’s  PM Giorgi Gakharia said at the briefing today.


“A nationwide quarantine will be declared under the state of emergency and citizens will be banned from moving throughout the country from 9pm to 6am. It means that we are declaring a curfew,” the PM said adding that the curfew will be imposed from 9 pm on March 31.
