One of the reasons "Nozadze Poultry" has cut production is the labor shortage. As the company founder Mamuka Nozadze told Commersant, finding labor has been a problem for months. "Finding a workforce is a serious problem. Mainly women are leaving the country looking for work in Italy and Greece. We can’t pay here as much as they are paid in European countries.
Our
employees are
from different villages and we need
even more, however, no one is eager.
Villages
are empty,
everyone goes abroad. To get high-quality meat, it
should be processed
by hand but we don't have that many staff.
The daily salary is GEL 40-50 on average, but no one wants,"
Nozadze notes.
Nozadze Poultry farm is located in the village of Mukhrani in Mtskheta region.
