Mamuka Khazaradze offers
Givi Razmadze, a resident of Gugutiantkari whose house turned to be beyond the
occupation line, to build a new house for him. Khazaradze spreads this
information in a social network. TBC Bank founder focuses on the difficult social
and political situation in the country and urges Georgian business community to
help people living along the occupation line.
Commersant inquired whether the businessmen would consider Mamuka Khazaradze’s request and join a social campaign.
Irakli Iashvili - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the largest carrier company " East Gate Group"
I’ve been involved in business and political activity for many years and I know exactly which campaign to join. If I see any need, I can decide myself whether to join any social campaign or not. Now I do not know if I will join it. I’ll watch how things will develop and then will take my decision. Many statements are made in the country but no action follows them. Both a politician’s and businessman's word must be worth something, unfortunately, in our country a word is worth nothing, I mean no one in particular. I believe one should do good quietly.
Revaz Vashakidze - Chirina company founder (Biu Biu brand)
We pay taxes, which are very high, and as far as I know, the state is obliged to solve such problems in the conflict regions. I do not consider it right a business or any individual to arrive and solve problems.
Ivane Goglidze –the founder of the canning company Kula
For years Kula has been helping many people. I have not seen Mamuka Khazaradze's statement, we will definitely consider his request.
