“Bus companies have suffered the most  during the pandemic. Flights are suspended, the Kutaisi airport is closed, and our company which  transports people  to the airport has come  to a standstill, " Irakli Kabulashvili, Omnibus CEO, says.

In Kabulashvili’s words, the company has been operating on the market for 3 years. Ombnibus has been operating in the bus transportation market since 2008, but launched Kutaisi flights only 3 years ago.

“Only one of our 40 buses works that proves the severe crisis we are facing. For the first time in 12 years we are suffering losses. Last year we carried out 280 flights from Kutaisi per month, now - 4. But this is a scanty turnover which brings only losses, "- Omnibus CEO notes.

According to the head of the company, the only support from the government is a loan payment delay.

“We are trying to survive in a difficult situation, but everything has its limits. If a complete work is not resumed in the near future, in a few months we will finally go bankrupt, ” Irakli Kabulashvili explains.
