In the first quarter of 2019, FDI to Georgia amounted to $ 281 million, which is 6, 3% less than in the same period of 2018.

The top ten investors include the Tourism Development Fund established by Bidzina Ivanishvili and carried put  10 projects worth  $ 717 million.

The fund was established in November 2014 and is registered in Panama.


 

in the reporting period of 2019 the top ten largest investors includes  Magticom, KazTransGas, Poti Port, RMG Copper, Toyota-Caucasus, IBG Holding, City Loft, Tourism Development Fund and BP –Group.

Georgia’s  largest investor is Ireland which poured  $ 133 million into the country due to  the purchase of 51% of the Georgian Adjarabet by the Irish betting and gambling company Flutter.
