A new trading center "Bazaar on Orbeliani" will open at full capacity on December 1 on the renovated Orbeliani Square, from today "Bazaar on Orbeliani" starts operating in a two-week test mode.According to Tamar Mesarkishvili, the company's director of marketing, it will be a technical opening during which the tenants will test the equipment and solve the logistics issues.

In Mesarkishvili’s words, renting spaces is still going on, 70% is rented in the agrarian part, about 90% are rented in the food court.
The project includes a food court on the first and second floors with shopping pavilions located in one space, on the terraces on the third and fourth floors will be an eating area without fixed seats.
"Bazaar on Orbeliani" is an integration of a modern type of agrarian market and food hall. It combines 35 restaurants of different directions, both Georgian, regional and world-leading cuisines.
A historical-architectural study prepared by art historian Lali Andronikashvili confirms that the arrangement of the agro-trade center on the territory of the former collective farm market. The document states that the building will be adapted to accommodate a high-class trade center. European practice shows that turning of the historical markets into multifunctional agrarian hubs boosts both economic and cultural development.
