"Apple exports 6-fold exceeds exports in the same period of 2019, the value of exports increased by $ 713 thousand.
Apples were exported to the Russian Federation (2,068 tons), Kazakhstan (75 tons), Armenia (6 tons), Singapore and Hong Kong.
Across Georgia, intensive and semi-intensive apple orchards have been planted on the area of 1,128 hectares within the state program "Introduce the Future". "The state co-financing amounted to more than GEL 9 million," the statement reads.
