Money Transfers to Georgia Grew 24.8% in November

In November 2017, the volume of money transfers to Georgia amounted to $ 122.1 million or GEL 326.3 million, which is 24.8 percent ($ 24.3 million) more than in  November 2016.

According to the National Bank of Georgia, 92.3 percent of money transfers from abroad come from  14 largest donor countries, which volume exceeded $ 1 million in November. 14 countries accounted for  92.2 percent of all money transfers last November.

In November 2017,  $ 19.9 million (GEL 53.1 million) was transferred  abroad, instead of $ 17.1 million (GEL 42.3 million) in November of last year.
