379 citizens of Georgia denied entry into Schengen zone in 7 months

379 citizens of Georgia were not allowed   to enter the Schengen zone in  8 months from the enactment of the visa-free travel.  

According to the State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, most citizens of Georgia were sent back from the border with Italy, Poland and Greece.

In particular, the data are as follows: 77 citizens were refused by Italy, 61 citizens were refused by Greece, Cyprus – 51 citizens, Hungary - 38 citizens, Germany - 30, Lithuania - 25, the Netherlands - 12, Belgium - 9, France – 7, Sweden - 3, Switzerland -2, Estonia - 2 and Spain – 1,
Finland – 2, Denmark- 2.


The data covers the period from  March  28 to  November 2, 2017.
