The entire Georgian business sector has an increased net turnover of 16.9 percent in the second quarter of 2017, compared with the same period of last year which amounts to USD 16.6 billion. Business sector output is also on the rise. In the second quarter of 2017, its volume totaled GEL 8.9 billion, which is 18.9% more than last year.
According to the National Statistics Office, large enterprises account for 42.5% of the total turnover, the medium-sized- 22.6% and small business - 34.9%.
The situation is slightly different in terms of the total production: big business accounts for 41.6% of the total production, medium-sized - 24.5%, while the small business – 33.9%.
